'Drawn In: The Adventures of Jamo Lady and Magners Man' is a comic book series co-created and co-authored by Clymene Baugher and Joe Celej, with penciling, inking, coloring, and lettering executed by illustrator by Paul Westover.
In 2009, Clymene began working with Elisa Monte Dance, where Joe had been a member since 2006. The two shared a distinct sense of humor that would be the anchor of their inevitable friendship. They often bonded during long hours of rehearsal, touring, performing, and happy hour, through witty banter and inappropriate humor. At some point, the jokes became a code of friendship and unyielding support; whether sharing the stage or hanging at the bar.
Years of cataloguing notes, moments, memories, and jokes, led them to one important decision: to make the hypothetical comic book they had been orchestrating a reality. Jamo and Mags came to life; it might’ve been at happy hour. Klink.
ClyJo Comics of ClyJo Publishing, Inc. is co-founded and co-operated by Clymene Baugher and Joe Celej. The mission of the company is to create and produce entertaining and humorous work that is balanced at its core with heart and thoughtfulness.
